Chapter 244 - Forgive Me!

Julian's last words made Nathan ponder and cry, because those words reminded him of all his bad attitudes when he was in middle school. Indeed, he was very afraid if his mother returned to a coma because of the heart disease she was suffering from. 

Thinking of such terrible things, Nathan immediately got out of bed and rushed out into the dining room where his mother and father were still eating their food.

"Mama, Papa. Please forgive Nathan for making Mama and Papa angry!". Said Nathan while hugging Sarah tightly in front of his father. 

Mr. Joseph just sighed at the behavior of his super spoiled son, this is what made him unable to be angry for too long, because Sarah would defend him any time. 

But Sarah couldn't do anything if Mr Joseph's reason was acceptable to her and if it made sense and for the good of her children. 

Sarah smiled seeing her son apologize so sincerely, she could guess that Julian had said something to Nathan so that Nathan could come and hug her.

"Never mind, don't hug Mama anymore! You're a big boy. Okay, let's eat with Papa and Mama!". Sarah said as she put the plate in front of Nathan after he let go of his hug. 

"I like Mama's cooking, so I'll eat a lot." Said Nathan with a full smile.

Sarah could only sigh because she actually quite understood that her son was not as mature as Julian and had to slow down if she wanted to advise him.

At the same time, Demian accidentally saw the person who was being attacked when he returned from campus.

He was forced to go home at night because he had to do a lot of work. 

He walked closer to them, he could still see a woman fighting three thugs. Meanwhile, one man who was like a driver sat with a frightened expression. 

"Aaaa ...". The groaning voice of the girl who was enduring the pain in her knife-scratched right hand sounded heartbreaking in Demian's ears.

Seeing that incident, Demian nimbly ran to protect the girl. 

"Rena, are you okay?". Demian asked when he was sure that it was Rena. 

"Demian..?". Rena was surprised to see Demian who suddenly appeared before her. 

"Go, let them be my business!". Exclaimed Demian before Rena answered her question. 

Rena shook her head as she said. "I don't want to, because I'm not leaving you".

"Alright, wait for me and stay away!". Said Demian while advancing against the three thugs who were staring at him savagely. 

"How long do I have to wait for you?". Shouted Rena. 

"I just need a few seconds to clean them up!". Demian replied without turning to Rena. 

Rena nodded and immediately got into her car with the driver, she covered her bloodied hands with a tissue. 

A moment later. 

"Come on!". Exclaimed Demian challenging the thug leader. 

"Hahahaha....".

The head of the thugs laughed with pride that he could hurt Rena who had opposed and cursed him, now he has a challenge from a man who he considers as weak as Rena. 

Not long after that, he quickly attacked Demian, but it was a shame that he was so fast that his hand was bent backwards by Demian.

The knife he was holding immediately fell.

That opportunity Demian used to attack and kick his knee so that the leader of the thugs immediately knelt down enduring the pain in the part of his hand that Demian pressed.

"Aaaa ...". A heartbreaking cry came from the head of the thugs as he was in so much pain. 

Seeing Demian's prowess in fighting, Rena fell in love with him even more. 

"Forgive young man, please let me go!". Said the head of thugs, followed by two of his men who also knelt down. 

Feeling that his opponent was helpless, Demian immediately let go and then let them go. After that he walked over to the Rena car. 

With a broken smile, Rena came out to greet Demian, because she was afraid that Demian would leave if she remembered her displeased disposition. 

"Thank you for helping me!". Said Rena in a soft voice. 

Without answering Rena's words, Demian took out his usual handkerchief from his bag, and this was the second time he had to give up his handkerchief to bandage a woman's wound. 

"Hold out your injured hand!". Said Demian to Rena while looking at her emotionlessly. 

Rena immediately stuck out her injured hand obediently. 

After that Demian carefully cleaned the blood and tied Rena's hand with her handkerchief so that Rena's blood would stop coming out.

"Thank you!". Rena said softly again. 

Hearing Rena's soft voice for the second time, Demian just stared blankly at Rena. 

"At least you smile if you really help me!". Rena said. 

Demian was silent, he wasn't a bad person who didn't know how to smile. Therefore he put a little smile on his lips for Rena and it was the first time Rena saw. 

Immediately Rena felt touched by what Demian did to her, especially seeing his very sweet smile. 

"He's really handsome when he smiles, I'll have it!". Rena thought with a smile. 

"It's late, you better go home and sleep!". Exclaimed Demian as he walked away leaving Rena. 

"Wait!". Rena chased after Demian because she felt something was wrong with this situation. 

"What else?". Demian asked in surprise after he stopped not far from the Rena car. 

"Please let me thank you!". Rena said with a pleading expression. 

"No need!".

"I beg you! If you don't want to, then I'll be standing here until tomorrow morning". Rena said who never messed with her threats. 

Demian fell silent. 

After that he looked at Rena with a complicated gaze, if he didn't obey, it was possible that Rena would be desperate and that made him feel sorry for the girl. 

"What do you want?". Asked Demian, because he didn't want to be involved if anything happened to Rena. 

"Incidentally our house is the same direction. So, let me thank you by driving you home, I beg you!". Rena said as she put her hands on her chest. 

Demian stuck both hands into his trouser pockets, after he took a deep breath and then said.

"All right! I will follow your wishes". Said Demian. 

"Thank you for wanting to obey me!". Rena said with a smile, she was very happy because Demian finally got into her car. 

"But, I don't want to ride your car, because I bring a bicycle!".. Demian said while pointing at his bicycle which he dropped while running to help Rena.
