Chapter 245 - What A Strange House

"So, you mean we have to use a bicycle?". Rena asked in surprise, she never used an object called a bicycle in her life. 

"If you don't want to, that's it!". Demian said as he stepped his foot again to leave. 

"Yes I do!". Shouted Rena while closing her eyes. 

Seeing Rena closing her eyes, Demian smiled amusedly because it was funny to him. 

"Get on!". Demian exclaimed to Rena after she got on first. 

Uncertainly, Rena climbed on the back seat, immediately held on to Demian tightly as she was very scared. 

Seeing Rena's two hands wrapped around his waist, Demian remembered Qiara who had sat behind him and shyly hugged his waist, but Rena was completely the opposite of Qiara. 

"Don't hold it too hard, I'll be short of breath!". Demian said while loosening Rena's two hands. 

"Sorry!".

After that Demian pedaled his bicycle following Rena's instructions.

Meanwhile, Rena's driver only smiled to see his employer smiling, even though she was only invited to ride a bicycle. After that he followed from behind. 

Demian really succeeded in making Rena embarrassed, Rena's heart was beating wildly because she felt very happy to be picked up by Demian even though she only rode a bicycle. 

"Demian ...?".

Demian immediately glanced at Rena who was sitting behind him. 

"What is wrong?".

"Have you ever been dating?". Rena asked with a little hesitation for fear that Demian would not answer her. 

"Never. But, I have someone in my heart". Demian replied after thinking for a long time. 

"Is that the girl who helped Natalie at that time?". Rena asked as she gritted her teeth in annoyance. 

"What do you know?". Demian asked curtly. 

"I don't care whether you have a girlfriend or not, or you have someone you love. But for sure, I will keep chasing you until you fall in love with me. I'm sure that you will definitely fall in love with me one day". Rena said with conviction.

Demian was silent to hear what Rena said, he was not interested in commenting on Rena because he knew how crazy Rena was, who did not like to be denied. 

"Why are you silent?". Rena asked while hitting Demian's shoulder. 

"Hey .. Why are you hitting me? It hurts you know!". Demian asked, glancing irritably at Rena.

"Who told you to ignore me. Oh yes, riding a bicycle is fun. Thank you for inviting me! I feel happy". Said Rena with a smile. 

Somehow Demian also smiled when he heard what Rena said, after all he was not the type to hate people excessively. 

"Is your house still far?". Demian asked to change the subject. 

"Just one more turn!". Rena replied with a little hesitation because this was the first time she had invited a boy to come home. 

"All right, I'll take you first!". Said Demian while pedaling his bicycle as hard as he could. Fortunately, the streets are well lit. 

"Okay". Said Rena excitedly. 

Rena's house. 

After a long period of pedaling their bicycle and combing the street on the cold night, they finally arrived at Rena's house.

Demian looked exhausted because Rena's house was quite far from the main road. 

The tall gates and mansions were like palaces, yet very quiet. 

"This is my house! Thank you for taking me!". Rena said after getting off the bike. She smiled so sweetly at Demian.

"Why is it so quiet?". Asked Demian, who had just finished observing the luxurious house which was a little haunted because it was very quiet and far from housing.

"Ummm... Yes, it's quiet, I live here with a driver and household assistant, what's wrong?". Rena replied casually. 

"Where is your family?".

Rena was silent for a moment, she didn't like people asking about her parents. She hates the people she should call father, and she pities the people she calls mother. 

"Khemm... I don't have a family. Oh yeah, it's already 11pm. You better stay overnight because your house is far enough away if you pedal any more, your feet might swell so you can't go to college tomorrow". Rena tried to change the subject so that Demian didn't ask any further questions about her family. 

Hearing a suggestion from Rena which was quite reasonable, Demian was silent for a moment, because to be honest he was tired and very sleepy, if he came back now it would take a very long time because his place was quite far away.

Right at that time the rain suddenly fell very heavily, at that instant Rena forced Demian to enter her house. Having no other choice, Demian rushed to follow Rena and ran into her house. 

It never rained and it was a coincidence as if it had been arranged by the director in the drama. It's just that tonight it rained because I understood the tired feelings Demian felt, not only physical but heart. 

"Come in". Exclaimed Rena when they arrived at the door of the luxurious house.

Demian fell silent as he stared at the door with an uncertain feeling. 

"Why are you silent? The rain is getting heavier, if it continues outside you can get sick". Said Rena who was getting anxious seeing Demian who didn't give her an answer. 

"Is there only you in this house?". Demian asked with a little worry. 

It was natural for him to ask that because he was a normal man, he was afraid that he could not help himself when he was alone with a woman in such a supportive atmosphere. He still remembered how he could barely control himself when he was with Rena at his house. 

Rena smiled when she heard Demian's question because she knew what men like Demian were worried about, she also knew how Demian wanted to respect her and it made Rena feel even more in love. 

"I do live alone without a family. However, I could not possibly manage a house of this size alone. So, I hired two household assistants, one security guard and the other a driver". Rena explained with a smile. 

Hearing what Rena said, Demian immediately turned to her. Instantly Demian felt bewitched by a smile that was the first time he saw it. 

Rena is a strange girl who is even crazier than Qiara, because she is grumpy and never smiles, but this time between the pouring rain and the bright lights, Demian can finally see Rena's most sweet and sincere smile from Rena. 

"Only until the rain subsides". Said Demian doubtfully. 

Rena immediately nodded because the most important thing for her was that Demian wanted to come in and rest.
