Wen Duoduo widened her eyes in shock: "Take, take off my clothes? Why do you want me to take off my clothes, Lu Jinyan, you bastard, what do you want to do?!"She instantly bristled, instinctively covering her body with her hands.
"What do I want to do? Of course, I’m going to clean your body. You’re injured and lost a lot of blood. Do you think you can clean yourself?"
"I can clean myself, no need for you to help!" She clutched her shirt tightly.
Seeing Wen Duoduo’s nervous expression, as if she was afraid he would eat her alive, Lu Jinyan couldn’t help but laugh:

The doctor specifically instructed her not to bathe with water, only to wipe her body with a damp towel, so Wen Duoduo took a clean towel, wetted it with warm water, and began to wipe her back.

She reluctantly lay on the sofa, cautiously took off her shirt, and defensively glared at Lu Jinyan.
Lu Jinyan took off his jacket and draped it over her back, saying, "Now you don’t have to worry about me peeking, right?"
It’s undeniable that even though Lu Jinyan could be shameless, deep down, he was a very thoughtful man.
Draping the jacket over her not only prevented peeking but also kept her warm. Though just a small gesture, it warmed Wen Duoduo’s heart immensely.
Moreover, he truly kept his promise and didn’t peek at her once.
After finishing wiping her body, he got up and went to the bathroom, "You can rest now, I’m going to wash the towel."
"Are you not going back tonight?" Wen Duoduo suddenly asked.
"Why, are you not comfortable with me being here?"
"No." Wen Duoduo shook her head, "It’s just that your apartment only has one bed, so later... how are you going to sleep?"
Lu Jinyan raised an eyebrow, a mischievous idea popping up, "Why don’t we share the bed? I’ve given the apartment to you; you wouldn’t be so heartless as to make me sleep on the floor, right?"
"Don’t even think about it!"
Her cheeks flushed red with shock, "If you don’t have a place to sleep, go back to your mansion, you’re not allowed to share the bed with me!"
"How can you be so heartless? I gave you the apartment, and now you’re kicking me out?" he said with a look of grievance.
Two seconds later, he couldn’t help but laugh, "Alright, I’m just teasing you, I’ll sleep on the sofa, I won’t take your bed."
"That’s more like it!"
Wen Duoduo quickly put on her sweater and dashed into the bedroom, closing the door behind her.
