Chapter 710: Chapter 710 - Radiant Swordmaster

Broken, Frostedge, Galactron and Zeno continued their relentless attacks in the same consistent pattern. The damage they dealt wasn't overwhelming enough to push Focalor into a dire situation, but it was steady, proving their strategy was working.

As more reinforcements arrived-particularly high-level players and NPCs fresh from defeating the other four Named Demons-their combined efforts began to significantly amplify the damage output against Focalor.

Even so, only ranged attackers dared to engage directly, maintaining their distance as they unleashed barrages of arrows, spells, and projectiles. Meanwhile, close-range fighters focused on clearing the battlefield of lingering demons to ensure Focalor remained isolated.

Broken was careful to ensure that both Alora and Ivana stayed out of close combat against Focalor. The demon's level and raw power were simply too high. Even Broken himself, bolstered by Gaia's healing skills and defensive support, found it incredibly difficult to hold his ground.

Now, a pressing question loomed: Is this the right time to summon the Golden Paragon?

Just as he managed to parry another one of Focalor's devastating attacks, two figures approached rapidly from opposite directions. In unison, they struck the demon with a spear and a greatsword, their combined force sending Focalor hurtling to the side.

The sheer impact of the clash also caused Broken to skid backward, struggling to maintain his footing after the forceful parry.

"Thanks, Broken, for holding him off this long!" one of the figures said.

The voice belonged to an elf woman with short white hair, clad in heavy armor with a base of white and dark silver. It was Iveth, the forest elf who had previously visited Broken in Slumdon Town.

Her companion, another elf wielding a greatsword, was a man equally clad in tank-like armor. The two exuded an aura of experience and strength, clearly prepared for this level of combat.

They moved seamlessly, engaging Focalor head-on, their builds and expertise allowing them to shoulder the burden Broken had carried so far.

This was it a crucial moment in the battle!

They needed to capitalize on this moment-to deal as much damage as possible and create an opening to bring Focalor down. There would be no greater opportunity than now.

Broken clenched his jaw. He could only sustain this skill for a maximum of five minutes, but with the growing number of high-level players converging on the area, their combined efforts and also the skill from the summon would amplify the damage output significantly. [Summon Golden Paragon (Conditional Active Skill) activated]

As the skill took effect, Focalor's attention snapped toward Broken. A mix of golden and dark auras swirled around him, wrapping his body in a chaotic, menacing energy.

"You piece of trash!" Focalor snarled, his teeth grinding as he deftly evaded attacks from Iveth and her companion. With a burst of speed, he hurtled straight toward Broken, an enormous energy ball spinning violently in his grasp.

The air crackled with power as Focalor's form closed the distance in an instant, aiming the devastating energy ball directly at Broken.

Broken raised his Gravestone Greatsword into a parry stance, his grip tightening. He knew the impact would be immense, and there was no guarantee he could withstand it. Yet, he stood firm, prepared to face it head-on.

The energy ball collided with his greatsword.

BOOOOOOOM!

An explosion tore through the battlefield, a massive shockwave rippling outward as debris scattered in all directions. But instead of shattering the target, the energy was reflected backward, its explosive force chasing after Focalor in a chain of detonations.

Everyone watching froze, stunned into silence. Broken had held his ground, withstanding Focalor's attack with the Gravestone Greatsword.

Broken immediately unlocked four new skills. He skimmed through their descriptions, appreciating their straightforward mechanics and practicality. The set included three active skills and one passive ability.

There was no hesitation on his part-he was more than capable of juggling multiple skills in

the heat of battle.

One skill was offensive, designed for dealing damage. Another was defensive, meant to shield allies. The passive skill enhanced close-range attacks, and the ultimate ability was a game- changer: an area-of-effect attack with powerful crowd control capabilities. Truly exceptional. His stats had been massively boosted. This sudden upgrade had transformed him in mere moments, and he knew he had to keep attacking relentlessly to make the most of the Golden Paragon's summon duration.

The Golden Paragon moved in perfect harmony with Broken, mirroring his parrying stance. The sight was nothing short of awe-inspiring. It left not only the defenders on the battlefield speechless but also caused the Named Demon before him to falter.

"You're nothing but trash that needs to be destroyed!" Focalor snarled.

"You've said that a dozen times now," Broken replied.

His grip on the greatsword tightened as he prepared for his next move.

[Radiant Swordmaster (Offensive Active Skill) activated.]

Broken unleashed his new power. The air around him seemed to hum and crackle as radiant

energy surged outward. Waves of brilliant light cleaved through the battlefield in a sweeping arc, hurtling straight toward Focalor with devastating precision.
