Chapter 35 Acting 5
Chapter 35 Acting 5
The first light of dawn was just beginning to appear on the eastern side of the city.
There were many reporters staking out the set of "The Terror Live." If they hadn't received the news last night, they wouldn't have known that Huang Min, who failed to hang himself last month, had made a new move.
To write a script in a very short time and quickly move the project to the filming stage.
This speed... is comparable to the work efficiency of a top director in Hong Kong in the 80s and 90s. Just as a ray of sunlight appeared on the horizon, a taxi drove up, but many reporters did not swarm around it.
Anyone who can take a taxi to the film set so early in the morning must be a member of the crew. No matter how bad Huang Min's situation is, he was still a second-tier actor before. Even if he was down on his luck, he wouldn't be so poor that he didn't even have a car.
A reporter yawned.
Last night, I was following a celebrity and staking out until after midnight. Then my company called me back here to staking out again. I was so tired that I was a little drowsy. Just then, I suddenly felt my colleagues around me rushing towards taxis with their equipment. I immediately jumped up and looked over.
Upon seeing the figure step out of the car, he was startled and instinctively squeezed in as well.
Huang Min frowned as he watched the reporters rushing towards him.
After the "Terror Live" project was finalized and filming began, he explicitly forbade the crew from leaking any information about the project, and the filming was basically kept low-key.
The main reason is that Huang Min knows his public image is not good. If the audience finds out that he directed this movie, it may face a boycott even before it is released.
So he kept a low profile as much as possible. Apart from those who paid special attention to him and found out through their own information channels, basically no one knew. But now... Huang Min knows that it was that woman Lin Wan who was behind it all.
However, since the reporters had surrounded him, Huang Min composed himself.
"Huang Min, I heard you've switched to directing, is that true?!"
One reporter asked impatiently.
"Since you said it was just hearsay, what else is there to ask? It's just hearsay. I also heard that you didn't go home last night and were having an affair with your colleague's wife while he was away."
Huang Min spoke directly.
How could you say that?!
The reporter who just asked the question said angrily.
"So what am I supposed to say? You came all this morning to ambush me. Don't think I won't remember you just because you're wearing glasses today. You were there when you ambushed me at the hospital last time. What did I say then? I said I was wronged and hoped you would seek justice for me. But what did you do? Did you think you didn't get enough of profiting from this tragedy last time, so you came here today to get some more? Don't think I haven't been watching the trending topics at home. Since last month, you've all been using the accusations and suicide attempts to make your mouths water."
Huang Min sneered and said, "From the perspective of supporting the elderly, you make money by posting content about me, so I am your provider. I stayed in the hospital for two days and not a single one of you came to see me. Now you come here early in the morning without even bringing a fruit basket. Calling you heartless is being too kind."
"Huang Min, what we want to ask now is..."
"Just because you want to ask doesn't mean I have to answer you! Who are you to me?!"
Huang Min retorted directly, "If you think you're even human, go to the supermarket and buy some good fruit to bring to the film set. Don't fucking rely on me for a living and then go around criticizing me."
"Huang Min, what kind of attitude is this...?"
"I don't expect you to treat me any differently. Don't think that just because you have a broken camera and microphone you're a media professional."
Huang Min turned to stare at the reporter, who looked to be in his thirties: "In the past month or so, you've gotten at least ten thousand or twenty thousand in bonuses by slandering me, and now you've come here... What, are you lacking fatherly love and want to come here to feel some fatherly love by my side? If that's the case, I can grant your wish."
"You, you, you..."
The reporter, who had been rebuked by Huang Min, was so angry that he was trembling all over.
"Huang Min, aren't you afraid of being blacklisted by us for doing this!?"
A female reporter said angrily.
"A ban!?"
Huang Min was taken aback.
He burst into laughter, as if someone had tickled his funny bone. Then, he looked at the female reporter and said, "Did you leave your head at home in such a rush this morning? Because of Lin Wan's slander, you all followed suit and fueled the flames. Now, no director will hire me, I have no roles to play, and I'm blacklisted... Except for not being blacklisted by the government, I've been blacklisted by the industry for a long time. You're threatening me with this now. No wonder you left your head at home; it's useless to bring it out if you're brain-damaged."
"You're transitioning now..."
"Which eye of yours saw me switch to directing?!"
Huang Min retorted, and before the female reporter could speak, he replied, "I have a good relationship with the director of this film, so I came here specifically to see how they make movies. What, what's it to you now? Or do you think that now that I've transitioned to directing, I need you guys to promote my film? That way you can control me. I've already attempted suicide once, what am I afraid of? Have you ever tried to hang yourself?!"
"without"
Faced with Huang Min's aggressive questioning, the female reporter swallowed hard and subconsciously replied.
"Then go ahead and go!"
Upon hearing this, the scene erupted in uproar, and the previously aggressive female reporter's eyes reddened.
Huang Min straightened his jacket collar, and seeing that there were still people blocking his way, he asked directly, "What, do you want me to do what other celebrities do and hand over a few red envelopes before you'll let me through!?"
"..."
"..."
Several paparazzi instinctively made way for them.
After walking a few steps, Huang Min seemed to remember something, stopped, and even took a step back. One of the paparazzi thought he was going to hit someone and quickly moved aside. Huang Min said, "Last night I called Lin Wan, wanting to see my son, but she blocked my number. I contacted her agent, but she refused. You can report on this kind of disregard for the visitation rights granted to the parent who has given up custody."
"it is good"
One of the reporters who responded just now felt really bad.
When did I become so obedient, even listening to Huang Min, who almost ended up hanging himself?!
"This is what you should be doing."
Huang Min nodded, then waved his hand: "Go on with your own things! There's nothing to film here."
After Huang Min walked into the filming location, the reporter who had responded earlier noticed the disdainful looks he was getting from his colleagues. He looked a little embarrassed, but still managed to explain, "It's not that I'm a coward, but for a moment, I really thought this guy was going to rush up and beat me up."
"If I really hit you, you'll be rich."
One of the reporters laughed.
"Can't post it. Haven't you heard that this guy went bankrupt because of the breach of contract fees he had to pay to the brands? So it's better to stay away. Right now, this guy is practically barefoot. The thing is, he really did try to hang himself."
As the middle-aged male reporter watched the footage he had filmed, he said, "If things get really heated, I'll kill you and then hang myself. Anyway, everyone, take it easy. I'm not afraid of people wearing shoes, but I'm afraid of people who have attempted suicide barefoot. If they're open-minded, they'll go and die on their own. If they're not, it's not impossible for them to kill one or two people before they die."
