Chapter 146 - Defamed

Sherly tries to look like a kind innocent girl, because today she is in the spotlight of many people after she returned from her hobby of traveling the world. 

Seeing that nothing had happened, everyone immediately looked away. 

This was used by Sherly to seek sympathy, especially Julian, who was chatting with her parents and of course Julian's father as well. 

Unfortunately Sherly threatens the wrong people, because Qiara is known to have no fear of anyone except her mother and Julian's sharp gaze.

Not only that, Qiara hated lying the most and even she was afraid of it.

That's how Renata educates her naughty daughter. As long as her daughter is honest, her mischief is commonplace. 

"Die you Qiara ... Looks like Sherly doesn't like you, of course she will get rid of you. Too bad, if you have to get an opponent like Sherly who has great strength". Laurent inner grinning at Qiara.

"Is it really wrong if I come?". Qiara asked with an innocent expression while enjoying the food she was still chewing.

"It seems you are not afraid of my threats". Sherly said, looking at Qiara in surprise.

"Afraid? Hahaha... Usually it is fear that doesn't dare approach me, because I'm too pretty". Qiara replied.

Sherly immediately clenched her fists seeing Qiara who had no fear of her threats, usually she always managed to threaten anyone with the power she had. But why doesn't it work on Qiara? She thought.

"Okay? Maybe I should tell you a little, if my threats are not kidding". Said Sherly with a sly smile.

After that she walked over to Qiara, then she immediately hugged Qiara. Immediately Laurent's head felt horny seeing Sherly's warm attitude that she thought she wanted to be friends with Qiara.

"Aaahh...". Suddenly, Sherly screamed loudly as she threw herself on the floor as if it was Qiara who knocked her down.

"Wow... Sherly is smart too, I will help her, so that Qiara can die tonight". Laurent thought, smiling at the action of Sherly who pretended to fall.

Hearing Sherly's scream, everyone immediately turned their heads. Instantly, Sherly's parents ran over to their daughter who was falling on the floor.

Seeing Sherly's act, Qiara's expression didn't change one bit, even though she didn't panic because for her as long as she didn't do anything wrong. So, during that time she will not worry about anything or face someone like Sherly.

"Geez... Sherly, what's wrong with you dear? Why did you fall?". Her mother asked in panic as she helped her daughter who was still in pain to stand up. 

"So, next time you be careful! Or don't use high heels so you don't fall". Her father continued while giving advice so that her daughter could be more careful in the future. 

"Sorry Uncle and Aunty if I'm presumptuous! But Sherly did not fall alone, she was pushed by the woman!". Said Laurent who tried to help Sherly to smooth her plan.

Hearing witness testimony, her Mama immediately turned her head to Laurent's forefinger.

After that, her mother immediately stood up looking at Qiara who was calm without sin. So, anyone who sees Qiara's annoying face, they will definitely be annoyed to death, that's how Valen said, Qiara's best friend during high school.

"Honey.. Tell Mama! Is it true that this little girl has dared to push you?". Asked her mother with a dark expression. 

Hearing the question of the middle-aged woman in front of her, Qiara fell silent and studied the mayor's wife's eyes. 

Without answering Sherly's mother's question, Qiara put her food back in her mouth using the fork in her right hand while looking at her mother Sherly expressionlessly.

At that instant, Mama Sherly was furious, and so did Laurent and Sherly. They thought that Qiara was a strange girl. 

"What is this?". Hearing that voice, everyone turned to look towards the source of the sound. 

You can see a male figure without any expression walking through the crowd with luxurious suits and tall postures and faces that look calm and charming.

Seeing that man, the socialites couldn't help but admire his figure. 

Meanwhile Sherly smiled slyly at Julian's arrival, because she was sure that Julian would side with her. 

She still remembers that Julian would always help her when she was in trouble when they were young.

While Qiara did not have an exaggerated expression when she saw Julian appear.

"Julian... Look at Sherly! She was pushed by that rude girl! Poor boy. After all, who is she and why is she here?". Her mother said, looking at Julian with a sad expression. 

Julian frowned as he glanced at Qiara sarcastically. seeing that, Sherly smiled a little. 

"She's his wife? Huh... I can't believe it. How could a gentleman like Julian want to marry a stupid and rude woman like this woman. If she was his wife, chances are Julian wouldn't want to admit her". Sherly thought while pretending to be in pain.

"Julian... What Mama said was true, I don't know what my fault was, but she pushed me instead! But I'm not angry, I'm just amazed!". Sherly said sadly.

"Geez... My daughter's heart is very kind and gentle. Julian, you should be grateful to have a future wife like Sherly. Because, many men out there are proposing to her. But she just refused for your sake". Her mother continued while rubbing her daughter's shoulder who looked weak and still in pain.

Fortunately, Papa Julian had to leave first because he had to organize his campaign which was to be held tomorrow, so he didn't see it happening. 

Regardless of what her mother said, Julian immediately passed her and looked at Qiara meaningfully.

"Is what they say is true?". Julian asked as he stared into Qiara's calm eyes.

"Do you think?". Qiara asked back while challenging Julian's gaze. 

Everyone in the place was astonished by Qiara's gaze and her curt reply to Julian.

"Wow... Who is that young girl? Why does she dare to challenge Mr. Ju. She has no fear because she has offended the two most influential families in town A".. Whispered one of the guests.
