Chapter 322 - Lies

"Hahaha ... There's no way I'll come because Julian and I have been divorced for a long time, and that kid won't remember me either". Qiara said, scratching her neck because she felt guilty about lying to Natalie.

"I hope you and your child can meet again, because I know what it feels like to be away from my own child". Natalie said.

"Do you have children?". Qiara asked suspiciously.

Natalie fell silent.

"Hahaha ... I'm not married yet, how can I have a child? Oh yeah, can we talk for a moment?". Natalie said, holding Qiara's hand.

"All right, but only briefly ...!".

"Yes".

After that they both went to a restaurant not far from the toy shop.

After arriving at the restaurant, Natalie took a deep breath and then drank a glass of water served by the waitress. 

"How are you and where have you been? I heard you are divorced". Natalie asked after putting her glass back on the table.

"My life returned to like before I married Julian, I live in town B with my mother, how about you?".

Qiara looked at Natalie meaningfully because honestly she also missed her best friend.

"After leaving Mr. Ju's house, I went to the village. A year later I returned to the city and started my new life. I was lucky because I met a friend who wanted to take me to a recording. Although at first I was used as a singer backstage, I'm grateful and now I have already started recording myself by showing my face at GM Entertainment". Natalie said, explaining her life story briefly.

"Wow ... I hope you become a famous singer. Oh yeah, I have to go now because I still have work. Next time we meet again ok?". Qiara said with a big smile.

However, she had to leave immediately as she had so little time. She intended to tell Natalie her story when they met again.

After saying that, Qiara stood up and left Natalie without eating anything. 

"One more!". Qiara stopped then turned to look at Natalie.

"What is wrong?". Asked Natalie who was still sitting in her chair.

"Please don't call me Qiara again, because my current name is Liana. Then I will excuse you!". After announcing her current name, Qiara immediately left the restaurant. 

Natalie just stared blankly at Qiara who had gone far away, after which she hurriedly left the restaurant because someone very important was waiting for her return home.

Zio's birthday party is held in the backyard which is a greenhouse designed by Julian himself.

It was seen that the guests came from various circles.

Nathan was getting nervous because Julian hadn't come yet, while Zio was still in the room because he didn't want to go out without his father.

Nathan felt guilty because he brought Zio first by saying that Julian was waiting for him at home. 

Zio also sulked and felt cheated by Nathan so he didn't want to talk to anyone and chose to lock himself in the room.

Worried, Nathan immediately made a call to Julian.

"Hello brother, where are you?". Nathan asked after the call was connected.

"I just came out of the office". Julian replied in a cold voice.

"Why did you come late? Zio was already at home but didn't want to come out, even though we had persuaded him. He was angry with me because I lied to him".

"Continue to persuade him ...!".

"But...". Before Nathan could continue with his words Julian just hung up on him. 

Just as he was about to try to persuade Zio again, he saw Viona come out of Zio's room with a sullen face.

"What is wrong?". Nathan asked in confusion.

"He rejected me, how is this? Julian has not come yet, while the guests have arrived". Viona replied worriedly.

"Then I'll cheer them up while buying time". After saying that Nathan rushed to the party venue.

"Thank you to all my friends for coming officially to the welcoming ceremony for my brother's arrival, as well as his son's birthday. While waiting for my brother's arrival, I will sing a song for you". Nathan said aloud. 

They all clapped their hands vigorously. 

Meanwhile, Helena, who had just arrived with her mother, immediately greeted Sarah who was sitting with Viona.

Their faces both looked very uncomfortable because they had given up on persuading Zio to come out, they finally chose to wait for Julian to come.

Helena smirks at Viona who is a romantic rival for Julian's heart.

Although it has been five years trying to win Julian's heart, Helena did not give up at all.

She gathered a lot of strength to get Julian while she had the opportunity, she would thwart Viona and Julian's marriage as expected at Qiara and Julian's marriage and her hopes came true after hearing the news of Julian and Qiara's divorce from her Mama.

Julian arrived at his family's luxury home, he immediately got out of the car and walked straight to Zio's room.

Meanwhile, Zio was still sitting by the window. He paused while counting the stars in the sky with a sad gaze because he didn't like the birthday party that reminded him of his mother's absence. He heard the story from Viona, so he hated his mother very much. Of course Viona said that to him so that she could have a chance to become Zio's mother.

Just then Zio saw someone appear behind the flowers that were near his window.

"Hello, good evening!".

"Who is that?". Zio asked in a small and adorable voice. 

Hearing Zio's question, the person behind the bush immediately appeared in front of Zio. At that instant, Zio was shocked because he still remembered the girl's face very well. 

"Aunt?". Zio said with a smile when he saw Qiara's face which was quite clearly exposed to the lights in the backyard because he had a sharp memory.

"Do you still remember me?". Qiara smiled and was very happy that his son still remembered him.

"Of course because I have a strong memory".. Zio answered while smiling a little on his thin lips.
