Chapter 360 - Contract Rules

"What's up? Is something wrong?". Qiara asked in confusion when she saw Aurel just staring at her without saying anything.

"Khem, do you have a special relationship with the big boss?". Asked Aurel who began to suspect Qiara and Maxwell. 

"No, why?". Qiara answered honestly.

"The big boss is very friendly and handsome, are you not interested in him? Or maybe you are already in love with him?". Aurel asked again, who was now asking Qiara's feelings. 

"I already have another love in my heart. So, I can't possibly fall in love with my boss. Hehe ..". Qiara replied with a sweet smile.

"Does that mean you already have a boyfriend? You have to remember that newcomers should not be in a relationship. Didn't you read the contract before you signed it?". Aurel tried to remind Qiara about the rules in the contract.

"Yes, I remember. I can't be in a relationship for two years and can't be scandalized". Qiara replied excitedly. 

"Good then. Oh yeah, what's with your cheek on the other side?". Aurel asked when she noticed the red patches on Qiara's cheeks.

Instantly Qiara grabbed her cheek and remembered how Sandy slapped her. 

"Were you slapped?". Aurel asked impatiently.

Qiara immediately nodded with a sad expression.

Aurel immediately reacted and clenched her fists, she really hates men who like to play rough with women. Qiara is the artist and no one should hurt her. 

Suddenly she finds out why Sandy was fired, and this incident adds to Aurel's suspicions that Maxwell thinks Qiara is a special girl.

"She deserves to be fired, if I was in that place and saw him slap you I would hit him back". Aurel said with a terrible expression.

Instantly Qiara shuddered in horror when she saw Aurel's expression.

"Never mind sister, let's not discuss it again because Mr Sandy has also been fired, it means he received his reward". Said Qiara who tried to cool Aurel's feelings.

"Alright, let's go back to shooting before Kevin gets angry!". After saying that, Aurel continued her journey with Qiara to go to their first filming location after a week's vacation.

Maxwell's house.

At the same time, Maxwell was busy feeding his fish in the pond he kept wholeheartedly in his home.

"Boss, I have done your orders". Said Rafael who was standing upright behind Maxwell, who was sitting facing the pool.

Hearing his assistant's explanation, Maxwell turned his head with a smile. Instantly he felt a cold sweat, because he knew very well that behind the smile and kindness of Maxwell, he is a human being unpredictable and terrible.

Maxwell will destroy anyone who has dared to cause trouble with him. However, he would not cause trouble to innocent people. That's what Rafael understands.

"Don't be too tense, sit down and drink tea, because we're not at the office!". Maxwell said in a soft voice after turning his head towards Rafael.

"Yes boss!". Rafael nodded respectfully, after which he walked following Maxwell to a place specially made for a cup of tea.

"Boss, I have finished investigating Miss Liana's background. Actually, Miss Liana's real name is Qiara. She is the daughter of one of the successful businessmen in city A, Mr. Steven. In addition, she is also the half-sister of YM Entertainment's top star, Helena". The assistant said after drinking the tea. 

"I know". Maxwell replied casually. 

Rafael immediately fell silent because he did not understand the way his boss thought, if he could find out by himself, why should he ask someone else. Rafael felt that the news he had brought was useless.

"If the boss already knows, why does the boss ask me to find out again?". Rafael ventured to ask because he was still curious.

"So that you have a side job, that's all". Replied Maxwell, smiling again. 

Instantly, the servants who saw Maxwell's smile were amazed because they dubbed Maxwell's smile as an angelic smile that could make women's hearts melt and be happy.

"Oh". Rafael just snorted because he didn't know what else to say. 

"Okay, I have to see my garden first, you can go back to the office. If there's anything that needs to be signed, just come here!". Said Maxwell, who was getting lazy to come to the office.

"Sorry boss, I want to remind you that you have a meeting for two days in Italy. And you have to leave tomorrow!".

Maxwell, who had stepped away from Rafael, immediately stopped because he almost forgot about this important meeting.

"I'll be at the airport tomorrow, you don't have to pick me up!". After saying that, Maxwell immediately left Rafael.

"He is indeed a strange boss. No wonder, Mr Kevin is always made emotional. But, Mr Kevin is even stranger because he is able to survive his best friend".

After thinking, the assistant immediately left Maxwell's mansion. 

Alexia Campus.

Meanwhile, on campus Demian sat silently absentmindedly as he was just giving an explanation to his students.

After completing his Masters abroad, Demian decided to become a lecturer at Alexia University.

Demian remembered the incident when he entered the wrong room so that he lost track of Qiara and was late in helping her.

When he got to the top, he already found Qiara in Julian's arms who was sobbing. Instantly, he became more and more convinced that Qiara and Julian had a close relationship even though he couldn't guess what it was. 

Just when he wanted to get closer, suddenly Julian's men came and the helicopter landed on top of the building. Demian also gave up his intention and believed that Qiara would be fine if he was with Julian so Demian chose to come back down and then left Rena's Gallery without saying goodbye to the owner.

Not long after, Demian walked out of the classroom without saying anything to his students. So they all felt confused seeing Demian's strange attitude. 

"Sir, stop ...!"

Rena tried to call Demian in a loud enough voice, but Demian did not turn around.
