Chapter 503 - Why Did You Do That?

The maid and Gavin shrugged their shoulders at the same time, because neither of them knew why Kevin was doing it.

He is not stupid, in fact he is great if he is said to be unworthy of being the leader in the Luan Group. So, what makes Kevin keep his identity secret?

Natalie increasingly wanted to know what Kevin's life was like. 

"Never mind, Miss Agatha and Gavin better eat first because Mr. Kevin has told me to make sure you both eat well after he leaves". The waiter said pleasantly.

Natalie was surprised when the servant called her new name, even though she wasn't used to it, but she was happy to be called Agatha because she felt like a new person.

"I did not think that Kevin was so total when he changed my name that the waiter started calling me Agatha". Natalie thought with a smile.

"Aunt's name now is Agatha. So, I have to call you Aunt Agatha. That said Papa". Said Gavin, looking up at him.

"Yes. Then, let's go to the dining room!". Natalie replied, smiling broadly.

Gavin immediately nodded then took her hand and walked together to the dining room.

At the same time, Jasmin has just arrived at Maxwell's doorstep. She hoped that Maxwell would stop her from leaving.

"Welcome, Miss Jasmin!". Said Rafael, who had just come out of Maxwell's house while carrying some files.

"Is your boss in there?". Jasmin asked with a smile.

"Of course, that's why I'm here to ask for an autograph from the boss. Miss just come in! I'm sorry I couldn't take you in!". Rafael replied with respect.

"It's okay! I can enter myself!". Jasmin said.

"All right, I am leaving now!". After that Rafael immediately left Jasmin.

After Rafael left, Jasmin immediately entered. She found Maxwell standing looking at the pool from behind his transparent window while enjoying his favorite apple juice. 

Jasmin smiled and walked slowly towards Maxwell. Once close, Jasmin immediately hugged Maxwell from behind. 

"I miss you". Jasmin says, leaning her face on Maxwell's back.

Instantly Maxwell immediately turned around and looked at Jasmin in surprise.

"Do you want to hear bad news or good news first?". Jasmin asked with a smile without letting go of her hug from Maxwell who had turned to face her.

"Yes, I want to hear both. So, speak up". Maxwell answered expressionlessly.

Jasmin smiled as she pulled Maxwell to sit on the sofa, after which she leaned on Maxwell's shoulder indulgently.

"I have divorced Daniel and tomorrow I will return to America. But, if you arrest me then I will still be here. That's bad and good news". Jasmin said.

"Go!". Maxwell said spontaneously.

Jasmin immediately fell silent, she then sat quietly and a little away from Maxwell. 

Meanwhile Maxwell is still cold to her.

After that, Jasmin returned to pay close attention to Maxwell so as not to miss anything, because if she did, she might be very sorry.

"Why? Don't I have the slightest chance to have your heart? Should I continue to compete with the dead?". Jasmin asked with a serious expression. 

"My answer is still the same!". Maxwell said, turning on the TV in front of him.

At that moment, the live broadcast of Qiara's show was playing. Maxwell's attention immediately focused on Qiara so that he no longer cared about Jasmin.

Seeing Maxwell's attitude, Jasmin was furious and couldn't hold back herself anymore.

"If your answer is still the same, then why did you come to my show yesterday? Then ask me for a walk? Doesn't that mean you've opened your heart to me?". Jasmin asked, pulling Maxwell to look at her. 

Maxwell blinked, for a moment he stared intently at Jasmin. After that he said. "Because you are my friend that's why I have to cheer you up. Besides, my heart has been occupied by another woman".

After saying that, Maxwell turned his head back to the TV. He smiled as he saw Qiara speak very calmly. 

Immediately Jasmin began to suspect Maxwell's attitude when watching Qiara's show.

"No, don't tell me that the woman Maxwell likes is Qiara!". Jasmin thought, closing her mouth in surprise.

After thinking about it, Jasmin looked at Maxwell again meaningfully.

"Don't tell me that the woman is her?". Jasmin asked, pointing at the TV.

Maxwell doesn't want to cover anything anymore because he wants Jasmin to stop expecting him so he nods without looking at Jasmin.

Jasmin was immediately shocked and stood up restlessly. 

"What's wrong with you? Why are you standing in front of me?". Asked Maxwell, confused when he saw Jasmin blocking his view. 

"Are you crazy? She is my brother's wife and they already have one child. Do you want to repeat history?". Jasmin shouted, shedding tears. 

Jasmin really can't control her emotions because she is anxious and afraid that the old story will repeat itself. 

"I know she is your brother's wife. But, I love her and I will make sure that she divorces Julian and lives with me because the rivalry with Julian is not difficult for me. About her son, I will love him too. So, you don't have to worry!". Maxwell answered seriously. 

Jasmin clenches her fists because her fear happens too, Maxwell is even crazier than before when they were fighting over Vania. 

"All right, let's just say your common sense does not work. But, do you know who she really is?". Jasmin asked after wiping her tears in a low voice.

Maxwell was silent, he had not searched thoroughly about Qiara's identity. But, he already knew enough that Qiara was a woman from city B who lived only with her mother. 

"I know". Maxwell answered quietly without any expression.

"Know what? Know that she is Vania's younger sister? Do you also know why she married Julian? It's all because of Vania. And do you think her son will accept you easily?". Jasmin shouted once again while chuckling her waist because she was very angry. 

Jasmin was so angry that she couldn't stop yelling at Maxwell so that she would realize what he was saying was wrong. 

Should fate put Maxwell and Julian in the same position again? Loving one blood-related woman? Jasmin thought.
