Chapter 516 - Revealed!

But, not with Virsen. He was not at all afraid of Maxwell's threats because he had heard them many times. However, he was confused as to why Maxwell suddenly attacked them. Didn't he pass all the blame on Mr. Joseph?

"Before you punish us, you better tell us what we did wrong! Aren't you smart?". Virsen said, looking up at Maxwell.

"Okay, I'll remind you of all your mistakes. First, you have teamed up with Joseph to kill the woman I love the most. She and her car were hit to death. Second, you were in that place, but you only helped Julian and you made sure he wasn't at the scene. And lastly, you guys stabbed me in the back by making a secret pact with our mortal enemy. Do you guys still want to report to grandpa? I'm not sure he will defend you". Obviously Maxwell.

Viona and Virsen are shocked, Maxwell can know such a tight secret, and they can't possibly take refuge in their grandfather because the last mistake Maxwell mentioned will make their grandfather angry.

Viona quickly crawled while hugging Maxwell's legs, she cried while saying. "Please don't tell grandpa! I don't want to lose Flory's palace and go back to being a normal doctor, I don't want to be punished by grandpa either!".

Viona wept bitterly, she pleaded with hope to Maxwell.

"I will obey all your words! As long as you don't tell grandpa. And please don't send me back to a mental hospital!". said Virsen who was also pleading while hugging Maxwell's legs. 

"Ahhh...". They both groaned as Maxwell pushed them violently to let go of his feet. 

After that Maxwell glared at them as he said. "You have to pay for your sins in a terrible way. I will make sure your great suffering will start from now on until you feel like dying".

After saying that, Maxwell took out his gun.

Bang... Bang... 

"Ahhh...". Viona and Virsen's screams sounded very loud in the room when their shoulders were hit by Maxwell's gun shots. 

Blood was pouring out from the shoulders of those who were shot. Viona, who always lived in luxury and was pampered, was crying uncontrollably while enduring pain. 

Maxwell's gun was soundproof so no one outside would hear it other than screaming. But, it was already the middle of the night so there wouldn't be any maids passing by. 

CCTV was also destroyed by Maxwell, so tonight's events could not be recorded.

"That shot just now is a warning to both of you, if you dare to run away from me and hurt Qiara again, then I will really kill you with great pain". After saying that, Maxwell immediately came out of Viona's room. 

Due to the great pain, Viona finally fainted. 

"Hey... Don't faint". shouted Virsen who was used to getting gunshot wounds.

Unfortunately, Viona couldn't come to her senses. 

After that, Virsen took Viona's cell phone and made a call to Viona's assistant who also lives at Flory Palace. 

Virsen couldn't call an ambulance to Flory Palace because he didn't want reporters to write about tonight's events. 

If everyone found out, then it would be tantamount to tarnishing his family's good name and making a new case that would be troublesome.

Julian's house.

At the same time, Qiara was still awake. She couldn't sleep because she was waiting for a call from Julian. 

She wanted to go out looking for him, but her heart didn't feel right leaving Zio at home with the maids.

She went to his room hoping that Julian was already there. But, she only swallowed disappointment. 

Qiara was rolling back and forth on the bed, obviously she was very sleepy but instead couldn't sleep at all because her feelings really got worse.

Qiara took her cell phone, she tried to call Julian again, but the number was still off. Qiara also searched Google and her finger accidentally typed Maxwell Adamson's name in the search field.

When she came back to her senses, her cell phone screen was full of information about the Adamsons.

There are also rumors that Maxwell Adamson was engaged to Mr. Joseph's eldest daughter, Jasmin Al Vero.

Qiara's eyes widened when she read about the mysterious woman, she suspected that it was Vania. 

"Could it be that my sister is the person they mean by the mysterious woman? If she is, that means Maxwell and Vania's relationship is very deep. Then, what about Julian? Isn't he also the lover she loves very much?". Qiara thought. 

After thinking, Qiara also felt tired, unconsciously her eyes closed and she finally fell asleep.

The sunlight made Julian's eyelids flutter, not long after that he opened his eyes and glanced in all directions.

"Where am I?". Julian immediately woke up holding his shoulder which was still sore from the bullet fired by Maxwell.

Julian was even more surprised when he saw that he was wearing a different outfit than the one he wore last night.

"Are you awake, Julian?".

Julian immediately turned towards the source of the voice with a dark expression. Immediately he saw Maxwell sitting on the sofa not far from where he was standing. 

"Maxwell...". Julian said in a cold voice.

Maxwell smiled as he stood up, then he walked over to Julian with slow steps.
