Lord of the Time: I Can Reincarnate Infinitely

Chapter 310 310: Mission!

Chapter 310 310: Mission!

it was a lazy sunday afternoon, and adam, or as his brothers lovingly called him, "adam," found himself chilling in the living room with his two siblings – delvin and klein. the scent of their mom's cooking wafted through the air, promising a delicious meal in the making.

delvin, the younger brother with a perpetual energy buzz, sprawled on the couch, engrossed in a video game. klein, the older, more laid-back one, sat on the adjacent sofa, casually flipping through a magazine.

"hey, adam, you're not joining the gaming party?" delvin asked, eyes still glued to the screen.

adam chuckled, "nah, i'm good. you guys go ahead. i'm just here to soak in the vibes."

klein raised an eyebrow, glancing over the magazine. "soak in the vibes? since when did you become so zen, adam?"

adam leaned back, flashing a grin. "well, you know, life's all about vibes. gotta appreciate the simple things."

delvin paused the game, turning to adam. "dude, you're talking like those motivational posters mom hangs in the kitchen."

adam laughed, "maybe they're onto something. anyway, what's up, klein? anything exciting in that magazine?"

klein shrugged, tossing the magazine aside. "nah, just the usual stuff – celebrities, fashion, and the million ways you can style a tie. you know, riveting stuff."

delvin rolled his eyes. "yeah, 'cause we all need to know the latest tie trends."

adam smirked, "you never know when a tie emergency might strike, delvin. stay prepared."

...

the cozy afternoon continued, with adam and his brothers lazily lounging in the living room. the sounds of laughter and banter filled the air until their mom, a force to be reckoned with, made her grand entrance.

"alright, boys, time for a mission," she declared with a twinkle in her eye.

delvin perked up, "mission? what's the assignment, captain mom?"

the aroma of spices and sizzling pans filled the air as mom, the culinary maestro of the household, worked her magic in the kitchen. the savory scent wafted through the house, summoning the trio of brothers like a fragrant melody.

delvin sniffed the air, "smells like mom's cooking up a storm. what's on the menu, mom?"

mom glanced over her shoulder with a warm smile, "tonight's special: homemade lasagna. your dad's favorite."

adam, ever the curious one, peeked into the kitchen, "lasagna, huh? what's the occasion?"

mom sighed, her smile slightly faltering, "no occasion, really. just thought i'd whip up something hearty. your dad's been swamped with work lately, and i figured a good meal might cheer him up."

klein chimed in, "speaking of dad, where is he? shouldn't he be home by now?"

mom sighed again, a hint of frustration in her voice, "oh, your father. you know how it is. the company demands so much of his time. he's been practically living at the office these days. barely has a moment for a proper meal at home."

adam frowned, "that's rough. he should take a break. family time is important too."

mom nodded, stirring the simmering sauce, "i've told him that a hundred times. but you know your dad – work, work, work. he thinks it's all for our sake, but sometimes i wish he'd remember we miss having him around."

as mom poured her heart into the sauce, the brothers exchanged concerned glances. it was clear that mom was juggling not just the ingredients in the kitchen but also the challenges that came with their father's demanding job.

klein spoke up, "maybe we should talk to him, remind him that he's got a family waiting at home. he needs to find a balance."

adam agreed, "yeah, we'll have a family intervention. lasagna, the great mediator."

mom chuckled, appreciating the humor, "you boys are sweet. but your dad, he's a stubborn one. thinks he needs to be the superhero, saving the day at the office."

delvin added, "maybe you should make him a cape. super ceo, defender of the corporate realm."

mom laughed, the sound echoing through the kitchen, "that might just work. a cape and a plate of lasagna – the ultimate power combo."
