Chapter 374 374: LeapFrog

Chapter 374 374: LeapFrog

As Caleb unleashed his newly fused form, his appearance underwent a dramatic transformation. His body was now encased in black bones, giving him a fearsome and otherworldly visage. His once-mundane hair had morphed into spiky white strands, while his skin had taken on a metallic sheen akin to plated armor. His eyes blazed with an intense orange hue, with slit pupils reminiscent of a dragon's gaze. And surrounding his transformed body was a shimmering transparent aura, pulsating with raw power.

Jeff watched in awe as Caleb's transformation unfolded before his eyes. He could feel the immense energy radiating from his grandson's form, a tangible manifestation of his newfound strength and skill.

"Adam," Jeff said, his voice tinged with awe, "your aura level has reached my own. I haven't felt danger like this in such a long time."

Caleb grinned, a sense of pride swelling within him at his grandfather's words. "I'm glad to hear it, Grandfather," he replied. "I've been training hard to reach this level, and it's reassuring to know that I'm on the right track."

Jeff nodded in agreement, his gaze never leaving Caleb's transformed form. "You look absolutely badass, Adam," he remarked, a hint of admiration in his voice. "I've seen many forms in my time, but yours is truly something else."

Caleb couldn't help but chuckle at Jeff's comment, a sense of satisfaction coursing through him at the praise. "Thank you, Grandfather," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "I've put a lot of thought into this form, and I'm glad to see that it's paying off." He bullshitted.

'Well, I didn't really put a lot of thought into it. It's just the result of fusion.' Caleb chuckled secretly.

As they continued to converse, Caleb explained the name of his new form – Undead Devouring Dragon Human Form. He described how his speed, strength, and endurance had been multiplied by fifty times in this state, making him a formidable force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

Jeff listened intently, nodding in understanding as Caleb spoke. "It's an impressive transformation, Adam," he remarked, his voice filled with pride. "But remember, power alone is not enough to win a battle. You must also have the skill and strategy to back it up. Although I can feel that you've reached my power level with that form of yours. Let's see if you can really keep up!"

Caleb nodded in agreement, his determination shining in his eyes. "I understand, Grandfather," he replied. "I'll continue to hone my skills and strive to become the best warrior I can be."

Jeff's expression darkened at Caleb's mention of his genetic abilities. "Those abilities are too dangerous to use," he replied gravely. "I swore never to unleash them unless absolutely necessary."

Caleb nodded in understanding, but a determined glint shone in his eyes. "I know, Grandfather," he said. "But someday, I'll surpass even you. And when that day comes, I'll be ready to face whatever genetic abilities you have."

With that, Caleb and Jeff ended their spar. As the dust settled from their intense battle, Jeff took a moment to address the aftermath of their clash. He reached for his communication device and made a call, receiving a detailed report from his subordinate who had been monitoring the situation via satellite.

"The damage caused by our battle is extensive," Jeff stated grimly as he listened to the report. "The island we were on has been submerged, and a massive tsunami resulted in the loss of 390 lives in a distant coastal area."

Caleb listened quietly as Jeff relayed the information, his expression unreadable. He understood the gravity of their actions and the consequences they had wrought, but he remained composed.

Jeff's next words, however, caught Caleb off guard. "Those 390 lives don't matter," Jeff declared coldly, his tone devoid of remorse. "In the grand scheme of things, they are insignificant."

Caleb's brow furrowed slightly at Jeff's callous statement, but he chose not to voice his disagreement. Instead, he simply nodded in acknowledgment, his mind racing with thoughts of the devastation they had caused.

Despite the destruction, Jeff seemed unfazed as he turned his attention back to Caleb. "You've shown remarkable progress, Adam," he said, his tone shifting to one of admiration. "To be able to fight against a Saint Realm Genetic Warrior like myself in your new form at such a young age while you're in Transcendence Realm... You truly are a peerless genius.

Caleb's chest swelled with pride at his grandfather's words.

But even as he basked in the recognition, Caleb knew that he still had much to learn.
