Chapter 694: Two worlds one home

“Du du...”

After charging out hundreds of meters, I finally heard the voice of someone from the command center, “This can’t work, they are too quick, the snipers can’t aim at them!”

In the sky, even with guns firing, the snipers all missed. Basic bullets couldn’t even kill them when they hit. I used up nearly half of my Blazing Sun Energy to be able to slice apart the monsters, the energy of the bullets might not be enough.

“Shua!”

Behind me, another fire rain descended. At least a dozen of them were chasing me. They were probably angry at me for killing them.

I flashed and hid under the bridge. I could hear the pillars melting. I charged from the right and Blazing Energy surged. I sliced out three times towards them and they were all attacks that could slice apart space. A total of five of them rolled onto the ground and died right away.

“Lu Li be careful!”

Behind me, a handsome figure descended. It was Captian Qin Feng and he slapped out a sharp storm to kill two of them who tried to sneak attack me. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to kill them. Although Qin Feng’s speed was really quick and he grasped some wind powers but it wasn’t enough.

“Captain you retreat!”

I shouted out firmly and jumped up into the sky. My left fist was covered in a golden Blazing Flame Armor as I knocked aside a flying beast that tried to spit out at Qin Feng. I could even hear the sound of bones cracking. I slashed and killed two of them before using the force to rebound towards the ground and avoid the fire rain.

“Pu pu pu---”

A huge hole melted in the structure and the bridge even looked like it was about to collapse.

“Lu Li leave!”

Qin Feng bit his teeth and tossed out something from his bag to knock aside one of them. Wind wrapped around him as he tried to cover my retreat.

Not far away was Tie Hanyi waving his fists to knock down one of them. There were already three bodies under him. Tie Hanyi was panting heavily and he was going all out with each hit. Even a mid Blazing Sun Realm expert couldn’t handle it.

“Ang ang...”

A black crowd of them dove down and aimed at Tie Hanyi.

“Animals!”

Tie Hanyi gritted his teeth and flames spurted out from his body to form a giant flame armor to knock aside many of them. He spat out a mouthful of blood as he exceeded his limit.

“Retreat!”

I looked at the sky and felt powerless,”Wang Lu, bring Boss Tie back, I will hold up the rear!”

I charged and fully activated the ninth meridian. Blazing Sun Energy surged as I slashed out and dealt a three meter wide sword energy which killed dozens of them. The moment I landed, I raised my left hand and a thick golden shield appeared to knock aside the flame magma from their mouths.

Not far away, Wang Lu grabbed Tie Hanyi’s arm and brought him away along with Qin Feng.

Haotian’s left arm was bathing in flames as he looked at me, “Boss leave too! I will cover you!”

“No need, Haotian you leave first!”

I tried my best to maintain Blazing Sun Armor while saying solemnly, “This is not something you can deal with, go quickly. Yu Yi you go too, don’t sacrifice for nothing!”

“This...”

Yu Yi bit his teeth and his body was covered in lightning glow, “Be careful Lu Li!”

In the crowd, someone that was a Major General walked forwards and smiled at me, “Kid, not bad!”

I felt a little awkward and raised a hand to keep Little White into space. I then saluted him but I didn’t say anything.

“Sha sha...”

Footsteps rustled as tie Hanyi, Qin Feng, Wang Lu and Haotian arrived.

Looking at the bodies of the beings, Tie Hanyi looked terrified, “Fortunately there was a carriage moving navy cannons, if not... It would be dangerous. Thank you General Xu!”

“Helping you all solve dangers is what the army should do.”

He walked forwards and shook hands with Tie Hanyi, “Long time no see, old friend!”

Tie Hanyi smiled, “En, long time no see!” ]

While they were catching up, I turned around to look at the bridge. I waved my watch and data appeared. The anomaly was gone and the magnetic storm on the bridge had disappeared.

Behind me, Wang Lu said, “It is confirmed, our mission is done. Leave the rest to the police, we can head back.”

“Okay.”

An hour later.

KDA base, Wang Lu carefully tended to the wound on my left hand. In truth, Blazing Sun Armor couldn’t perfectly block the magma. My arm was still slightly burnt. Luckily my body was strong enough so these injuries would be healed up quickly.

On the side, Qin Feng frowned, “I didn’t expect things to reach such a level. Only Old Tie and Lu Li could play a part today, all of us are supports.”

“KDA’s combat members aren’t many, just be used to it.”

Wang Lu helped put medicine on me while looking at the scenes. The ball was still on the bridge. She frowned, “I sensed something during the battle.”

“Oh?”

I was stunned, “What did you sense?”

She bit her lips, “Maybe it might sound merciful but I want to tell you all that the magnetic state is just something like a space crack. She is a mother and has many children and was then forced into our world which caused all this. Logically speaking, the two worlds shouldn’t be at war.”

I was stunned, “Wang Lu, you also think that they are innocent?”

“En.”

She nodded.

I sighed and lay on the chair, “Professor Shawn’s theory is slowly being proven. There isn’t any alien, our two worlds are just colliding and merging. We think that they are charging into our world but in truth, we are invading theirs too.”

Qin Feng got up, “No matter what, we are warriors, our goal is to protect our own world.”

I nodded, “En.”
