Xander was currently feeling very fatigued.
Currently he has finished level 2 and level 3 on the pathway to the volcano. The demons were all the same with increased level, HP and quantity.
His current level was now level 7. In each level, the amount of improvium given to him was plus five of what was given in the last level.
The improvium was what will be used by players to upgrade their territory, again, which is the village.
The next level after village was town, then city, kingdom, and lastly empire. The difference in the amount of improvium needed to upgrade a territory was astronomical.
"I'll check how much improvium is used to upgrade my village. Hehe... Improvium." He laughed.
The game developers didn't see any other name of a resource and decided to call it... Improvium.
'Even I can name things better.' he thought with a smile.
Xander looked at the system time and saw that it was already... 7:46 pm.
"After level 4 I'll stop for today."
He then walked pass the yellow line, entering level 4 of the pathway. He readied his blue dragon sword, ready to fight off whatever wanted to come his way.
*Creee!!*
"What the...?"
Xander looked up and saw a not so large bird on fire falling down towards him. He jumped to the side and the bird landed on the floor.
"What the hell is that?" Xander said as he looked at the bird that had glowing orange lines on its body. It's eyes had a fierce, golden glow that seemed as if Xander was it's lifelong enemy.

Well, even if it was only a common grade armour it was okay, for a start.
The game was so thrilling that Xander wanted to stay and play all night but his mom will be worried about him.
He decided to check out the other modes of the game tomorrow when he logs in again. He logged out that instant.

"Hm."
Xander groaned lightly as he felt the familiar soft leather of his gaming chair caressing his skin. The sweet scent of his familiar room graced his nose.
He took of his helmet and went downstairs to have dinner with his mom.
His mom was rather happy that evening as she got a promotion at her job and they ate dinner with laughter and joy. There was a sad truth that Xander knew though, his father who his mother thought was coming back has actually left them.
When he found out, he was very angry and pitied the woman who was left here with a burden to carry which was him.
That was the time he decided to make money early to take care of his step mom, who he has fully acknowledged as his mother.

Early in the morning on Saturday Xander quickly did all his chores and ate so that he can log into the game again. He planned to go to Harry's house later in the evening so he wants to level up a lot so that he can brag about his knowledge of the game.
He turned on the helmet which emitted the same subtle glow before his consciousness drifted into the fantasy world once more.
