Chapter 83 Seraph
The Buffalo was lifted off of the ground and four flat energy discs flew above it. It still struggled to escape from the chains as it clamped it's teeth again and again at Xander.
Xander didn't stress about it and summoned two other chains that didn't shy their pointy blades this time and stabbed through the horns of the Buffalo, and pulling sideways, making it unable to move its head unless it doesn't want it's horns.
"He's also a mage?!" Hex, the leader of the hunting party said as he saw Xander control those chains.
'It is extremely rare to see a mage and someone here has the strength of a knight and the powers of a Mage. Who is this gifted child?' Hex couldn't help but think.
If he knew that those weren't the only things Xander could do he would faint out of shock.

Xander just stood back while holding his spear vertically, letting the sharp tip point to the ground.
'I've seen a lot of spear throwing shows. I should try it out since ì have a spear. It shouldn't be that hard.' Xander thought as he raised his spear and stretched his arm backwards. He could see the tip from the corner of his eye.
He focused hardly on the monster Buffalo that was being suspended in air while roaring loudly.
Xander just targeted between the horns and he threw it forward with all his strength, making wind around him suddenly burst with a boom as the spear cut through the air.
The spear reached the middle of the Buffalo's head in an instant and a loud Crack resounded in the surroundings as the spear pierced through and went in all the way.
The chains holding the the Buffalo in the air suddenly dispersed into bright red colored flame and the Buffalo fell to the floor, dead, with it's eyes still open.

Xander was shocked as he actually did it.
He did it! He made a correct throw on his first try!
"I... that felt good." Xander dwelled in the feeling of achieving something.
He felt the little dragon clawing at him on his shoulder and he turned to it.
The dragon was purring but somehow, Xander could understand everything it was saying which was extremely creepy.
"How is–"

After the entire buffalew was swallowed by the little dragon it immediately let out a yawn and laid on its back.
"Wow. You must have been tired after gobbling up so much." Xander said as he walked towards the little dragon and carried it in his arms like an egg.
He poked the belly of the dragon a couple of times and it felt full but how would a small creature like it devour a whole buffalew.
"This little guy is full of surprises." Xander said with a smile. "And as for your name... uhh... Sary... se... Hmmm... Seraph sounds nice. Don't know why the letter 'S' was in my tongue."
"Excuse me kind sir!"
"Hm?" Xander turned around to see the group of people that were hunting the buffalew before behind him.
'Ah. I completely forgot about these people.' Xander thought.
"Uhhh... I'm very sorry about the... creature that was eaten by accident." Xander said with a wry smile.
"Oh don't worry about it. You seem like a nice young man. And although that buffalew would last us for a couple of days, we understand that it was eaten by accident." Hex played along with Xander's words.
'Huh? He believed that?' Xander was confused.
As Hex wanted the talk the dragon in Xander's hand suddenly started choking on something and coughed.
"Huh? What's wrong?" Xander panicked.
He couldn't lose another person close to him, even if they were a dragon.
Seraphim suddenly couched loudly and a black smoke leaked out of it's mouth and an object flew out of it and hit the ground with a soft thud.
It was Xander's spear!
The hunters were shocked again.
Seraph just curled in Xander's arms and closed its eyes as if falling asleep and Xander chuckled.
"Seems like he swallowed my spear along with the buffalew, hehe."
