Chapter 99 Army of elves

'Dreg said that there would be a boat going to mainland tonight. I kind of want to stay, but this isn't my world.' Xander sighed as he jumped from the ground towards the docks.

"Cra, craaaaa!" Seraph made cute noises and they flew through the air.

After jumping from building to building for an entire hour Xander finally saw a large ship where boats were being docked from far away.

There were two ships, one was made with very intricate designs and looked very fancy while one was larger and looked like a normal wooden ship with hundreds of windows lining the sides.

'Hm?'

Xander looked towards the smaller, fancy ship as a light flashed from there. He clutched his chest as he suddenly felt a force hit him hard, making him fall down to the ground.

"Argh, what was that?"Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Xander then saw people running out of rhe fancy ship and coming his way, holding bows and arrows.

The people that were boarding the ship were all confused and then they stopped whatever they were doing at first. When they saw the ones that held bows everyone suddenly began to scream as they ran in all directions.

Xander looked closely to see the ones surrounding have long ears.. like...

"Elves." Xander mumbled in surprise as they surrounded him and drew their bows.

He looked at his chest and saw no wound but he just sighed.

'Probably force magic.'

Xander stood up and looked around.

"What do you guys want?" Xander asked calmly.

An elf wearing the same blue uniform walked forward but this one had short silver hair and blue eyes. This young elf had an annoyed expression right now.

"We can trace the prince aura on you. Where is he?" The young elf asked.

Xander raised a brow, "I don't know what you're talking about."

All the elves suddenly drew their bows which were already knocked with arrows.

"You might want to rethink about your answer again." The silver haired elf in front of him said with furrowed brows as he drew a dagger from his waist.

"Tsk." Xander clicked his tongue and smiled.

As he wanted to move further he suddenly felt a tugging from within him, something was wanting to calling him from within.

The rest of the elves suddenly shot arrows towards Xander.

"You fool!"

Belphegor suddenly multiplied his arrow and shot them in the direction of the ones going towards Xander.

Xander immediately turned the dragonscale into a transparent cube which was as strong as the original dragonscale armour.

Belphegor's arrows couldn't catch and deflect each and every one so Xander just sat inside the dome and then Seraph sat inside while looking at the commotion.

Belphegor, seeing that Xander was safe inside the transparent cube sighed as he began walking towards Artemis.

Artemis was still unfazed and held strong in his decision to bring the prince back.

Belphegor suddenly dashed at Artemis with great speed and Artemis was unable to even grasp the situation as he felt a force hit his stomach, causing the air to be knocked out of him.

Belphegor, after hitting Artemis with his knee jumped back with a spin and a loud booming sound resounded as his leg collided with Artemis' face, causing him to spin rapidly in the air before falling to the ground.

"What the, the general was knocked out!"

"Prince Neos, what is wrong with–?"

Belphegor vanished and appeared in front of another elf, causing the elf to shiver in place as he looked up into the demonic purple eyes of belphegor.

Belphegor hit the elf at the side of his neck with his hand, causing the elf soldier to be immediately knocked out.

He vanished again and he began knocking out the other elves one by one.

He didn't want to kill them. They were his people, if not, a rain of arrows would make them not see the light of tomorrow.

Xander was stunned by Belphegor's skill and precision with where to hit. So far he has only seen him using his arrows while lazily sitting around but who knew that the Shadow elf was a master at martial art too.

After a while the area was littered with unconscious elves or the ones that were beaten up so bad that they couldn't move and just stayed there while grouning in pain.

Xander raised his hand up, as his palm touched the dome it suddenly absorbed like water and became the dragonscale ring on his finger.

He walked towards Belphegor with a smile and just said, "You know being stuck with me is your fault. If you were friendly, we might have been friends."

"True, but following you on your adventures has been fun for me. I haven't been thrilled to follow someone like this and I will continue following you." Belphegor kneeled on the floor and Xander smiled as he dismissed the elf and walked towards the ship.

As he was walking towards the ship he saw a person in black cloak walk past and enter the ship and he couldn't help but notice how the person glanced at him.

'Very weird.'
