Chapter 101 Unexpected encounter on the ship

As he closed the door he looked at the intruder head to toe. The person's hand looked delicate and although the cloak covered them, he could still deduce that it was a woman in front of him.

Xander walked forward towards them and then he grabbed the cloak of the person before pulling it off.

He jumped back as he saw someone who he didn't... No, who he would never believe to see again.

Xander fell on his ass as he crawled back. In front of him was a lady that was shorter than him. Her long black hair cascading down her back and a part in front of her heir was white, giving her a distinguished look.

Her blue eyes looked at Xander who was on the floor and her heart ached as she stared at him looking at her with so many complex emotions.

"Xander I..." Sandra tried to talk but then Xander began to stand up.

He looked at her and he walked towards her with staggering steps. He remembered how the factory blew up when he went to fight the ghoulshippers.

It was all his fault. If he didn't charge in to deal with them as quick as possible, all of this wouldn't have happened.

Xander touched her face and then she rested her head on his hand and he was shocked.

He wasn't dreaming!

"H... How?" Xander asked as he just couldn't believe it right now.

Sandra didn't answer him and just hugged him tightly as tears rolled down from her cheeks.

Amongst both of them, Xander was even more shaken than her as he couldn't still believe that she was alive.

Sandra took him and they sat on the bed and he looked at her for an explanation, very, satisfying, detailed explanation.

"We were close to killing the dragon boss that time." Xander said and Sandra nodded.

"Indeed. That was the day the entire real life situation started. I miss normal gaming." Sandra said with a tired sigh and Xander smiled at her.

"When I used to see you back at school, I would've never imagined you playing games. I wonder what your friends would say about this." Xander smiled as he shook his head and he took a bite out of the meat on his plate.

The table they sat on was rectangular and was for two pair of people but only Xander and Sandra sat there comfortably.

"They aren't friends." Sandra said calmly as she took a bite out of the meat on her own plate.

"What do you mean? I see you guys together all the time." Xander raised a brow.

"Well... Where are they now?" Sandra looked around and then Xander kept quiet as he knew what she was trying to say. Stay connected through empire

"Those leeches just befriended me for benefit. When danger came, they bailed. They didn't even call, not once." Sandra said calmly... Which made Xander worried.

"You don't seem worried." Xander mentioned and Sandra chuckled.

"Maybe because I expected something like this from them." She shrugged.

After they at at a restaurant at the port Xander turned Seraph into his mount form and then they took to the skies, heading towards the place where he was kidnapped and taken to the cave of cerebus.

"According to the people there, the tree that was burned by blue flames is somewhere around here, keep your eyes out." Xander said as he sat and looked around.

Sandra who was behind him came to hug him from behind, resting her breasts on his back and sending a shock down Xander's spine.

"I know you want to stop the ghoulshippers. But please don't be reckless again. Alexander, the man in charge, he is very strong. He borrowed power from another world and he... He is ruthless." Sandra said as images of a man with long black hair killing tied up people made her sad as she didn't want Xander risking his life out there.

"Don't worry, I'll get help from Terrox if I want to face them. Don't worry about me." Xander said as he turned to her and they kissed before flying in silence as they searched for the peculiar tree.
