The siren suddenly sounded throughout a vast building, breaking the tranquility of the night.

"Search the building!"

Countless guards wearing black uniforms and holding guns looked solemn as they searched around the building.

As the guards searched the building, a bruised and bloodied woman wearing a thin white dress sneaked out of the building. Not a single spot on her thin frame was intact, but she never slowed down. She dragged her broken leg and gritted her teeth. As she moved forward, her eyes filled with determination to survive.

Behind her, a group of armed guards finally caught sight of her from a distance. The captain saw her and shouted, "Experimental Subject Nine is there! Come with me!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Ha ha ha ha!"

The guards surrounding her knew that each experiment subject was very dangerous and mentally unstable. Seeing that the woman was laughing like a madman, they all raised their weapons, ready to kill her the moment she made her move.

When the captain and the guards observed her warily, the woman's laughter stopped. She let out a long sigh and looked up at the night sky. After that typhoon ten years ago, there had never been a clear sky in the world.

She had endured ten years of torture just to avenge her grandfather and mother, but she was really exhausted.

The woman closed her eyes and said tiredly, "Grandpa, Mother, I'm sorry. I couldn't avenge you two."

She took a deep, trembling breath and said, "I miss you so much, Grandpa. I will come over to accompany you and mother in a moment."

As soon as these words came out, the captain's eyes shrank. Seeing the woman's body shining brightly, he hurriedly shouted, "Retreat!"

The next second, the woman's body was covered by the bright lights, and her exhausted energy was forcibly activated. Feeling the tearing pain all over her body, the woman smiled faintly with an expression of regret on her face.

Before the captain and the guards could run to a safe distance, the woman laughed wildly and shouted, "If there is another chance, I will definitely kill all of you!"
