Yao Ran heard the sounds and woke up in one of the second-floor bedrooms. She turned around and yawned sleepily. Her slight movements and the sounds outside also woke up Long Yu.

After planting another kiss on her lips, Long Yu got out of bed and put on his clothes. He checked the electric heater battery, noting it was half full, then covered Yao Ran with a thick blanket before leaving the bedroom.

Downstairs, Long Yu saw that Shi Xuan had already gone out to open the gate. He headed to the kitchen to prepare some drinks. When Long Yu returned to the sitting room with a cup of hot coffee, he noticed Yuan Rihui following closely behind Shi Xuan.
