After he said that, Yao Ran thought for a moment and asked, "Have you found your younger brother?"

Wu Yehao shook his head. "Not yet. I have checked the entire secret laboratory, but I couldn't find where they are keeping my younger brother and the other children."

When Yao Ran heard this, she said, "I think I know where they keep the children."

The moment her words fell, Wu Yehao's eyes flickered. He stared at her for a few seconds before asking, "Eldest Young Lady, how do you know about that?"

"I have my ways," Yao Ran answered vaguely.

Seeing that she didn't want to elaborate, Wu Yehao picked up the drone and said, "I will try to see if I can find that big head deformed monster."

Now that she had cleared up the misunderstanding with Yao Yuechuan, Yao Ran put away her long sword and leaned on Long Yu to rest. Seeing that she was exhausted, Long Yu hugged her and let her sit on his lap to sleep.

While she was resting and recovering her energy, Yao Yuechuan, Wu Yehao, and the others were busy locating the big head deformed monsters.

After scouting for hours, Wu Yehao and the others finally spotted the big head deformed monster near their resting area.

Looking through the screen, Wu Yehao saw the big head deformed monster moving its oversized heads left and right without stopping.

After they watched for more than five minutes, Yao Yuechuan asked in bewilderment, "What is that thing doing?"

Wu Yehao shook his head. "I don't know. Let's observe it a little longer."

While the others struggled to restrain Yao Yuechuan, Wu Yehao took a clean cloth from his waist bag and stuffed it into Yao Yuechuan's mouth to prevent him from biting his tongue. Once he had done that, Wu Yehao turned to the others and commanded, "Two of you, carry him back. The rest, get ready to fight. The big head deformed monster has spotted the drone. It knows we were observing it and might come to attack us."

Hearing this, the others' expressions turned serious. They nodded, and two of them carried Yao Yuechuan back to their resting place while the rest quickly split into smaller teams, each taking positions suited to their roles.

A few minutes later, Long Yu saw the two soldiers return, carrying the twitching Yao Yuechuan.

"What happened to him?" he asked, watching as they placed Yao Yuechuan on the ground and tied him up.

Hearing his question, one of the soldiers explained, "We finally located the big head deformed monster, but it also spotted the drone. Just as Captain Wu zoomed in for a closer look, the big head deformed monster noticed it. Unfortunately, Captain Yao saw its eyes through the screen."

"After he warned us, we all shut our eyes, and the big head deformed monster destroyed the drone. When we heard the crash and explosion, we opened our eyes-only to find Captain Yao already trapped in the illusion."

Hearing this, the two soldiers nodded and said in unison, "Thank you."

They took one last look at Yao Yuechuan before grabbing their weapons and rushing out to

join Wu Yehao and the others.

After they left, Long Yu's expression darkened.

Frowning as he studied Yao Yuechuan's condition, he thought, 'Yao Yuechuan met eyes with that

big head deformed monster through the drone but still got pulled into its illusion. This monster is even more troublesome than I expected.'

As he contemplated how to fight the big head deformed monster without looking into its eyes, Yao Ran stirred slightly.
