Chapter 76 Four legged animalistic Zombies!

lucas knew that the wolf zombies were not going to be easy to deal with. he had some nasty experiences the last time he fought these things and this time around, the risk has increased.

in the past, lucas was bitten by one of the coyates, a species not from his planet but which looked like a wolf from earth.

lucas kept looking at the creature who was at first staring at them with crazy eyes but then noticed that its irises were whitish which may be caused by cataracts or some other things.

'i can't be sure... well, time to start.' lucas activated his 'perceptive eyes' and soon the world changed again, he left aside the usual dark aura seeping from the ground and the walls and looked at the wolf dearly.

the wolf at first had a body covered with flesh and some kind of dying fur but then he couldn't see the flesh at all.

the black veins were evident in the thing's body and lucas tried to find the dark matter that was the fuse of its whole existence but after looking for some good long seconds, five actually.

his face went pale from panic, lucas couldn't find the dark matter cause of the wolf's shape. for all he knew, the dark matter could be located at its back or the downside but lucas had no way to look at them from his angle.

"i need to get a closer look... sarah! mike! blast the damn thing together, we can't take any risk." lucas shouted which finally got the wolf moving, it was faster than the humanoid but still moved slower than what an actual wolf's speed could be.

sarah didn't ask further and materialized a fireball the size of a basketball and after positioning herself in a professional thrower's stance, she let it go at full speed with the help of her mana and the hand's force.

mike had to first get a nod from jimmy and when he got the approval, he didn't have to do any preparation, he moved his hand up, closed one of his eyes, and stopped it at a location where he was confident that the fire bullet would hit the thing like a bullseye.

"really? what's the weak point this time?" jimmy asked while activating his blades again, the fascinating thing was that the blades had no blood on them, and they shined as if they had not been used for ages.

"the left rear leg, it's going to be a hassle but please bear with it. and tell me if the location changes or something, we can't be sure about everything."

"right right, boss~ we got it!" jimmy said in a playful voice making lucas ignore him completely. the guy was being playful at such a dire time that lucas didn't want to say anything about it.

"grraaahhh!!!!" another voice fell in everyone's ears yet this time, there were multiple ones. the voice was very unpleasant and it made them wonder if the vocal cords of the wolf were busted or something.

soon, three wolves pounced at once outside the hole, two landed elegantly with their firm legs yet the third one's right front leg broke right at the contact but it didn't care.

"fire the two coming this time!" lucas ordered while getting aside, he was right at sarah's throwing trajectory and it couldn't be more safe than being dependent on a rookie thrower with one day of basic training.

"i will take the one at the right" sarah spoke while her left leg was lifted and curved toward her right leg.

jimmy didn't say anything and just grunted in response, they both shot the respective wolves they had chosen with all their might and the result were weaker than before.

'they both attacked one wolf at the same time before meaning that this is the actual firing power of both huh..." lucas thought with an aloof expression on his face but when he felt a sudden jerk from jimmy's hand.
