Chapter 128 Sarah's madness

"HAAAGHHH!!!" Lucas screamed at the top of his lungs in order to exert as much strength as he could. The adrenaline was fading quickly and dizziness tried to overcome his mind.

The sword with the currents slashed through the skin making the creature cut halfway with only some skin and muscles still connecting to both sides at the bottom.

In the last moments, Lucas was sure he saw the creature's mouth form a small sadistic smile before it fell on the ground and became limp.

Lucas lost hold of his swords and fell to his knees, he tried to grab his face but the liquid that burned all the skin made its way on his hand too making it have critical burns.

Lucas had no time as his body flew a few meters until his face and front body hit the ground with force.

Everyone had forgotten about the two-headed hound and when given a chance, it used its fireball skill to attack Lucas when he wasn't prepared at full force making him fly a few meters.

"NOOO!!!" Sarah had no time to look at the shadow creature that was fighting Bill when Lucas was on the ground while grunting to hold his emotions in and persist.

Sarah's nose started to twitch while she felt a scorching heat within her chest. Her anger was blooming little by little until her eyes started to show madness.

At that moment, her pupils mysteriously became yellowish as if two small fireballs had replaced her perfectly normal pupils from before.

Sarah made her hands move above her head with the palms facing the sky. A small ball of fire formed in the joint big palm and it started increasing in size.

All the hair on his head at the back was burnt showing his head, and even his clothes started to wither away into rags that were moving in the air just like when a newspaper is burnt and the ashes fly around with the wind.

In fairness, Jerry was not alone as John was also doing his part well. He was manipulating the winds continuously to forcefully move opposite the blast's direction which countered and help make a small forcefield around them all.

Yet the blast still had a great force while it hit the shield piercing the shields belt inside Jerry's skin even after his tough skin skill was activated.

The blast was over in only 5 seconds yet it felt like many minutes had gone by. The destruction was still menacing as the fire was making the trees, dried grass, twigs, and bushes to burn.

All this time, Sarah was unhinged while she looked at the burnt crisp body of the hound with her red eyes. Her face showed the pressure she had placed after making such a big fireball and mess in the forest.

"W-What the hell..." Jerry's face became pale while he looked at the condition of the forest near the shelter. All the herbs, the bushes, the flora of any kind ceased to exist and in trade, the forest looked like it had just burned to death due to a month-long wildfire.

Everyone was shocked to look at the forest's condition and in all the smoke, Lucas could not be seen at all.

Yet Sarah could look at him from the smoke as if it was a natural thing to do. Her face became paler than anyone else while her delicate hands looked pointed at Lucas's burnt body.

THUD!

Sarah fell to the ground after finally succumbing to that mana exhaustion.

"Sean! Barney! Get Sarah inside the shelter!! Ella! C-Come her quickly!" John ran in exhaustion, his mana too was a whopping zero.

The couple made there way to Lucas's body in hurry.
