Chapter 22 Leaving the Sect

While hiding inside the closet, Chu Wuyao felt that the current scene was very exciting and strangely familiar.

"I always think that I've read about such a situation before.", she thought, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't remember where.

Shaking her head to suppress those thoughts, Chu Wuyao peeked out of the gaps of the closet and saw Li Ruoshi's seemingly weak appearance.

When she heard her words and instructions, her murderous intenttion surged.

She had an urge to heal her injuries with her Sin Points, then step out of the closet and slap her to death, solving the problem once and for all.

Judging from Li Ruoshi's injuries, this should actually be very easy.

With her back against the door, she fell to the ground and unconsciously breathed a sigh of relief.

After a few seconds passed and she was sure that Li Ruoshi had left, she looked towards the closet and spoke.

"Okay, you can come out now."

As soon as she finished speaking, the closet opened and the still-naked Chu Wuyao walked out.

"How did it go?"

"Do you think that there is aby chance that she noticed that something was wrong and was just acting?", she asked casually as she walked towards a drawer and took out one of Ruan Yi's dresses, before putting it on.

The dress was slightly small for her and only slightly covered her lower body.

However, she didn't care and picked up a chair that was thrown to the ground and sat down on it.

"No, she shouldn't have noticed anything.", Ruan Yi shook her head.

"But from now on, she will probably think that I'm a pervert."

Her gaze when she looked at Chu Wuyao turned a little resentful.

Chu Wuyao walked through the various building of the sect with short but quick steps and her speed was quite fast.

She was currently wearing a black hood on her head and a silver mask that hid her face, not revealing any clues about her identity.

With her look, it was as if the words "I'm suspicious" were written in bright red letters on her forehead.

"Hmph!"

Facing the strange look's of the disciples around her, Chu Wuyao snorted and walked straight into the Mission Hall building.

It was early in the morning and the Mission Hall was very crowded, with many disciples standing below the blackboard and looking for missions.

Chu Wuyao's sneaky appearance attracted a few glances from the disciples, but they soon looked away and returned to their business.

Chu Wuyao didn't care and walked towards the blackboard with some familiarity.

Reading through the missions on the blackboard, she tried to find a mission suitable for her.

According to Ruan Yi, as long as she stayed anywhere in the sect, there was a high probability that she would be found by Li Ruoshi.

With this in mind, Chu Wuyao made the tough decision to temporarily leave the sect.

The outer disciples were free to leave the sect, as long as they picked up a mission that required them to do so.

Chu Wuyao wanted to make use of this "loophole".

Her plan was to hide outside of the sect for a period of time and only return when her strength was strong enough to protect herself.

"No, this isn't hiding. This is just a tactical retreat.", she convinced herself.

Going through the various missions on the blackboard, Chu Wuyao noticed that there were many more missions that she could pick up this time around.

This was because compared to last time she took the hunting mission, her strength had undergone massive changes in just a few days.

"This mission?"

Soon, Chu Wuyao's eyes were attracted by mission on the blackboard.

As soon as she saw this mission, Chu Wuyao didn't hesitate at all and picked it up.

This mission wasn't too dangerous and had high enough rewards, while satisfying Chu Wuyao's sole requirement of having to leave the sect.

Since she had no other particular destination in mind, she might as well go and visit this body's hometown.

With her familiarity with the city, solving the case might be easier.
