Merith wondered if his hearing had gone bad.
'He want to build a kingdom in the region. Is he mad?!' trying to usurp the 8 Main City. Such thing is impossible and only the most insane man would think to even attempt it.
His thought seemingly heard by the teen, who glared at him. Immediately, Merith realized something important.
'H-he is a 5th Circle Mage. The only one in the entire region. He can easily defeat any 4th Circle Mages without even trying. Plus, there is the dungeon. He can quickly build a group of elites, capable of standing against the forces of the Main City.'
To Merith shock, the person trying to build a nation look less like an insane fool, and more like a visionary.
'He can succeed. As long as he did not screw you greatly, he can do it.' Merith looked at the teen once more. He did not know why, but he can easily imagine a crown on the boy's head, the boy looking at him from a throne of gold.
Merith blinked the weird vision away.
'Why did I think of such future?' he could not help but wonder.
"Are you insane?" a future corpse asked, his tone not hiding his incredulity.
The teen let the side of his lip to tweak up, "Highly likely." his Mana washed over them, with the most of it being pressed on the corpse-in-the-making.
"But, I'm not as insane as those who attack the village. In fact, soon, I will fly to Cruom City and make them an offer. Submit, or perish." his gaze tell Merith the teen is not joking. That he will do it.
The corpse-in-training fainted, knocked out from the Mana unleashed by the teen.
"Now I tell you my plan, I will now make you an offer," ignoring the person he knocked out, the teen continued,
"Either you join me, bowing down and accepting to become my subordinates and subject, or leave after you help turn the village into a city worthy of the title capital of the new Kingdom."
'The offer... it seem too good." Merith did not think anyone would want to join the new kingdom. Sure, the future King would be a 5th Circle Mage.
"Bless you."
"Thank you, Celine. I wonder why I sneeze."
"Must be because of dust or pollen. Or do you believe the folktale of someone saying your name, Catlin? Maybe a certain powerful Mage that want to be a King?c

For some reason, Merith was depressed for two seconds before he shook it off. He then look at Ternor who sported the same expression as he did a few second before. Wonder why.
