Chapter 1559: Justin Kingston’s Plan
Chapter 1559: Justin Kingston’s Plan
Jocelyn and Janelle remained silent, a look of shock in their eyes. But Justin Kingston couldn’t possibly be joking with them.
He continued, "Ian Shelby was born at a point no one else could even reach, he doesn’t need to struggle, he has wealth and power from birth."
"But he’s unwilling to live such a luxurious yet dull life, and he has a deep love for medical science, highly knowledgeable in pharmacology, or what we call talent, so he decided to become a doctor when he was a child."
"Lorelei is indeed wealthy, but it’s still a niche kingdom, so Ian came alone to Riventhal after he was an adult wanting to shed his identity as a Prince and devote himself to his medical career."
"He’s actually a Prince..." Jocelyn could hardly believe it, such a shocking revelation.
Yet Ian’s decision to forsake his noble identity to contribute to the medical field was even more admirable—a dignified, pure soul within a handsome exterior.
Janelle asked, "CEO Kingston, then why are they sending people to take him away this time? He’s been out of Lorelei for many years, shouldn’t he have already accepted this fact?"
Jocelyn returned to her senses and also focused on Justin Kingston, eager for an answer.
But Justin Kingston shook his head, "I don’t know, he hasn’t told me; the last time I saw him was probably more than half a month ago."
Silence, an awkward silence that left Jocelyn feeling helpless...
After a while, Justin Kingston added, "Maybe they want him to return to inherit the throne; thinking about it, the King is quite old, it’s a responsibility he cannot escape."
"What about his hospital?" Jocelyn worried, "Will he come back? And if he doesn’t want to return to being a Prince, will his family force him? He’d be unhappy for the rest of his life."
Justin Kingston shook his head, "I’m not sure, so we’re only guessing now, but one thing is certain—he’s not in danger, it’s not like he’s offended some evil force, he’s just gone home."
With that thought, Jocelyn and Janelle felt a bit relieved, though they couldn’t help but worry.
"CEO Kingston, I know you’re very busy, your schedule is full..." Jocelyn apologized for intruding after receiving the information she wanted, "I shouldn’t even make such a request; we’ve already taken up enough of your time today."
"It’s okay, just say it." Justin Kingston’s gaze was gentle.
With tears in her eyes, Jocelyn courageously asked, "Do you have any contacts in Lorelei? With your status and position, could you reach their King? Can you inquire about Ian’s situation? He’s also your friend."
Justin Kingston thought for a while and candidly told her, "That was my original plan, to give him a few days to see if he can come back."
He said, "If he doesn’t return, we’ll go and find out what exactly happened; even if he decides not to come back, the hospital’s relevant procedures still need to be handled, and I’ll go to finalize them with him."
This answer reassured Jocelyn, with his capabilities, he certainly could contact that side.
Although she couldn’t wait a single day, possessing a strong premonition that without intervention, Ian might never leave that kingdom.
"Jocelyn." Janelle embraced her shoulder, gently comforting, "Don’t worry too much. He’s a Prince, who would dare to harm him?"
Justin Kingston glanced at his watch, though he said nothing, the motion caught Jocelyn’s attention.
"Thank you, CEO Kingston." Jocelyn stood up, placing all her hope in him, "Can I come back to see you in a few days?"
