I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 20 Fire?

Chapter 20 Fire?

Xander's eyes watched as a sphere of water appeared once more in the girl's hand.

'Is she going to use that move again?' He thought before getting more excited as it seemed it wasn't. The sphere stretched and twisted before forming what could only look like a drill made of water.

Xander quickly crossed over his gauntlets and felt it collide at the dead centre of them. The force behind it was slightly surprising to him, as it had caused him to take a step back.

The drill soon lost its spin. Shortly after, it lost its shape and fell to the ground.

'Hm? That's it?' He had deduced whatever she had just drank must've been a mana potion, so he was expecting an attack of a greater magnitude... compared to this...

"That's a bit disappointing—"

However, this feeling was soon crushed as he noticed the metallic shine of a blade coming down on him from overhead. Raising his gauntlets towards it - he parried it effortlessly.

Lillian felt her arm holding her sword tremble as the vibrations passed through her sword. However, she ignored this brief moment of uncomfort as she aimed her injured hand towards the now exposed chest of the Red-haired Adolescent, intending to blast another drill right into him.

Unfortunately...

A flicker of what seemed to be fire appeared at the centre of his chest before growing larger into a raging flame and blasting outwards towards her hand.

She gritted her teeth and bent her knees - retreating back. After reaching a few metres away, she glanced down at her hand, which was just about to be singed off and saw it covered in water. (2)

Just as she had retreated, she had quickly coated her arm in water, making the fire ineffective.

The Fiery Adolescent stared at her, whistling - he was impressed.

"We almost got each other. I'd say we're tying right now."

'Tying...?'

"Hm... maybe... but I still need to binge-watch a few more before I can..." He let out another yawn. The reason for the Second Prince's constant yawning was due to his love for shows and movies.

"Umu... understandable..." Millis nodded. She, too, was a lover of shows and movies. However, due to her... financial problems, she had to resort to pirating to acquire these shows.

But since she left home, leaving her laptop, which was the only capable device she could use to watch them, she was left without entertainment and with the dread of not being able to know what happened next.

So, after discovering that someone too was as obsessed with shows and even had watched the same things as her, she got slightly carried away talking about it. Fortunately, it worked out for her.

The Second Prince had found her enthusiasm over shows and movies amusing enough to where he agreed to be her duo.

"That friend of yours... you think she's going to pass?" The Second Prince asked Millis as she poked the corpse of a beetle-like monster with a stick before being startled as it disappeared into pixels.

"H-huh? Oh! Definitely! Although it was quite surprising that a simp like her didn't actually join that woman."

"Woman...?"

Millis nodded, "It's the person currently in first place."

"Oh... the Heir of the Roselle family... was she the one who requested this friend of yours to join her?"

"Yeah. I'm kinda mad, though!" Millis pouted, "If she was going to refuse, why didn't she tell me beforehand!" She stomped on the ground like a child, ignorant of the Second Prince who had entered into a deep thought.

"I would like to meet that friend of yours." The Second Prince said abruptly, breaking Millis out of her childish tantrums.

"Huh? Sure! How come?"

"Hm... I'm interested. That's all..."

He was then met with an intense glare from Millis, "That girly is already engaged to me! She's mine, ya hear!" She ranted on, flailing her arms about.
