Chapter 2349 - 2325: Disciple’s Disciple

Joseph looked like he’d just seen a ghost, his eyes were wide open.

Gao Yang noticed Joseph’s stare, he had already guessed Joseph’s reaction, but Joseph’s response was a bit too intense, his straight gaze made Gao Yang feel a bit uneasy.

Someone was supposed to say something to ease the situation, but no one really knew what to say, which made the atmosphere quite awkward.

Finally, Salim cleared his throat and said loudly, "Well... um, this competition was really... not bad, not bad."

Salim genuinely didn’t know how to find words to smooth things over; all six men were knocked down with one move. Even if he wanted to save some face for Lavagani, he didn’t know where to start. So, after saying "not bad" twice, Salim simply started nodding.

Salim nodded repeatedly, so Abdullah and the others started nodding as well. As for what the nodding was for, and what the uh-huhs meant, who knows; any reaction was better than none.

Finally, Lavagani lightly clapped his hands, and somehow managed to smile.

"Very good, not bad, Mr. Peter Ram, you’ve successfully proven the capabilities of your subordinates. However, modern warfare tests tactical skills, this is the era of firearms, haha. My men have indeed been somewhat slack in hand-to-hand combat training. Impressive, impressive."

Gao Yang laughed up at the sky and said, "Exactly, who relies on fists in warfare nowadays? Being able to fight doesn’t prove anything; being able to fight a war is the real deal, haha, haha."

Lavagani was silent for a moment, then loudly said, "Well, let’s call it a day. We should start preparing, and if necessary, we might have to set off tonight."

Lavagani finished speaking, and a group of people behind him hurried to load the last person into the car. Then, Lavagani led the group away without even saying goodbye to Abdullah.

After Lavagani’s men all left, Abdullah suddenly smiled, then walked straight over to Gao Yang. Abdullah’s expression was almost one of gratitude. After giving Gao Yang a hearty hug, he left in a hurry with his entourage. He was right, there was indeed a lot to do next. It was just Lavagani’s eagerness for revenge and face-saving that wasted time at such a critical moment.

Watching Abdullah and his group leave, Gao Yang smiled and then burst into cheers.

Who doesn’t like victory, especially such an overwhelmingly, sheer overpowering victory?

Only Eileen was quite dissatisfied as she said, "I really wish someone would have picked me. Damn! I really felt like teaching someone a lesson!"

In the midst of everyone’s laughter, Gao Yang turned around and looked at Joseph, "Do you have something you want to say to me?"

Joseph looked around and said in a low voice, "Can I talk to you in private?"

Gao Yang laughed and said, "I know what you’re worried about, that who this and who that, give him a kick from me."

Li Jinfang immediately aimed a kick at Joseph and then laughed, "Isn’t this what you wanted to say?"

A group of people were watching Joseph with interest. Joseph was stunned and said in a low voice, "How come you can do that too? This is only... no, where did you all learn this?"

Gao Yang scratched his head and said, "This indeed needs to be kept secret, so those who know what’s going on, stay; those who don’t, please leave."

The Black Demon and a few others strolled back, while those trained in Israel stayed behind. Gao Yang then patted Joseph on the shoulder, saying with emotion, "If I’m not mistaken, you should call me grandmaster."

Joseph looked at the people beside him, incredulous, "What do you mean? This is a new skill that only needs to be learned and promoted within special units. How, how did you learn this kick?"

Joseph was stunned and said, "How... is that possible!"

Joseph was horrified, involuntarily taking a step back, and said tremblingly, "F**k! You’re called Ram, Kick Ram! Are you the Kick Maniac? Impossible, how is this possible!"

Joseph’s face twitched hard, he said through clenched teeth, "It feels great! Couldn’t be better!"

Gao Yang took a cautious step back, frowning, "Looking at you like this, you aren’t thinking of giving me a kick, are you?"

Joseph forcefully wiped his mouth and said softly, "I want to shoot you. The instructor who taught us that kick said if there’s anyone to blame, blame the Kick Maniac, because he’s the one who set the rule that the first kick must land; if you can dodge it, it’s fine, if you can’t, you deserve it! When I was called alone into a room and took that kick, I thought, if I ever get the chance! I’d definitely land countless kicks on that damn Kick Maniac!"

Gao Yang shook his head and sighed, "I really feel for you, really, and I’d like to tell you, I didn’t set that rule. I just kicked their tummy, not their groin. If you want revenge, find the person who taught you; it really has nothing to do with me."

Joseph hesitated for a moment before saying in a low voice, "It’s indeed useful. This kick comes in handy when holding a gun with both hands. We have a fellow comrade, as far as I know, this move saved his life during a secret mission."

Gao Yang patted Joseph on the shoulder again, laughed, and said, "That’s good. Now you know it wasn’t me who made you suffer, so stop thinking about revenge, haha, haha."
